Inclusive Affordable Housing in Gresham

In partnership with Advocates for Life Skills and Opportunity (ALSO) and Home First Development, this four-story apartment building in Gresham, Oregon, will provide 39 affordable housing units. The project will focus on inclusivity, offering a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments designed to accommodate individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Located near the Gresham Transit Center, the apartments will offer residents convenient access to public transportation, schools, parks, and shopping. This collaboration aims to create a supportive community environment, empowering residents to live independently and thrive within their community.

The Montage will be made possible through a combination of public and private funding sources dedicated to expanding affordable and inclusive housing. The project will receive 9% Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) and General Housing Account Program (GHAP) funds from Oregon Housing and Community Services (OHCS). Additional funding will HOME funds from the City of Gresham, a Fairview Trust Grant, and a grant from the Kuni Foundation, which supports housing for individuals with disabilities.
